Heavy-Duty Front Shock Upgrade – KONI EVO for Spartan K2 / K3 / MountainMaster and Tiffin Allegro Bus
Upgrade the ride quality and durability of your diesel motorhome with the KONI 99B-3234 EVO Front Shock, designed for Spartan and Tiffin PowerGlide chassis equipped with Reyco Granning Independent Front Suspension (IFS). These heavy-duty shocks are engineered to deliver improved ride comfort, better suspension control, and increased durability for large Class A motorhomes.
The KONI EVO 99 Series shock absorbers feature patented open intake valve technology that allows the suspension to absorb road irregularities smoothly while still providing the control necessary to prevent excessive bounce and body movement. This makes them especially effective on independent front suspension systems with limited shock travel, where precise damping control is critical.
Compared to earlier KONI FSD shocks, the EVO 99 series uses a 50mm piston, nearly 40% larger than the 36mm piston used in previous designs. The larger piston allows the shock to handle greater forces while operating at lower internal pressure, resulting in better durability, improved suspension control, and smoother ride performance over rough roads and expansion joints.
Developed originally for high-end European motorcoaches, the EVO 99 series is now being introduced to the North American RV market to provide premium ride comfort and superior chassis control for heavy diesel pusher motorhomes.
If your motorhome experiences front-end bounce, harsh ride characteristics, or worn-out factory shocks, upgrading to the KONI 99B-3234 EVO shock is an excellent way to improve driving comfort, suspension performance, and long-distance travel stability.
