Reduce Sway and Improve Air Ride Stability with SuperSteer® Motion Control Unit
The SuperSteer® SSE6075T/N Motion Control Unit (MCU) is a simple, cost-effective solution designed to reduce excessive sway, body roll, bounce, and rocking in air bag–equipped motorhomes. Some coaches, mainly the Freightliner Chassis, have a "T" in the airlines that run between the airbags. This will require a "threaded" style of motion control unit that screws into the top of the airbag. This set includes one standard MCU and one threaded style MCU (See photos for example of threaded style). The MCU features an internal baffle that restricts rapid airflow in and out of the suspension air springs. By controlling the speed of air transfer, the unit improves compression damping, enhances rebound control, and significantly reduces side-to-side instability.
The SSE6075T/N can be installed on front and/or rear air bags depending on the desired handling characteristics. Multiple baffling ranges are available to fine-tune suspension response and sway control.
This version features 1/2" OD air line connections and is recommended for vehicles with GVWR over 30,000 lbs.
If you’re looking for an effective way to stabilize your air suspension without major suspension modifications, the SuperSteer® Motion Control Unit is a proven upgrade.
