Heavy-Duty Front Shock Upgrade – KONI EVO for Freightliner XC / Tiffin PowerGlide / Spartan K2 with ZF IFS

Improve the ride comfort and suspension control of your diesel motorhome with the KONI 99B-3262 EVO Front Shock, engineered for Freightliner XC, Spartan K2, and Tiffin PowerGlide chassis equipped with ZF Independent Front Suspension (IFS). These heavy-duty shocks are designed specifically for large Class A diesel motorhomes that require superior damping control and durability.

The KONI EVO 99 Series shock absorbers feature patented open intake valve technology that allows the suspension to absorb bumps and road irregularities smoothly while still maintaining strong damping force to control large suspension movements. This results in reduced bounce, improved chassis stability, and greater driver confidence when operating heavy diesel pushers.

The EVO 99 series utilizes a large 50mm piston, nearly 40% larger than the piston used in earlier KONI FSD shocks (36mm). The larger piston allows the shock to handle greater suspension forces while operating at lower internal pressure, resulting in improved durability, better ride quality, and increased suspension control.

Originally developed for high-end European motorcoaches, the EVO 99 series is now being introduced into the North American RV market to provide premium ride comfort and enhanced suspension performance for heavy diesel motorhome chassis.

If your motorhome suffers from front-end bounce, harsh ride characteristics, or worn-out factory shocks, upgrading to the KONI 99B-3262 EVO shock can significantly improve ride quality, handling stability, and long-distance travel comfort.

Product Benefits:

  • Heavy-duty EVO shock designed for diesel pusher motorhomes
  • Large 50mm piston improves durability and suspension control
  • Patented open intake valve technology enhances ride comfort
  • Reduces front-end bounce and suspension oscillation
  • Improves steering stability and chassis control
  • Engineered for ZF Independent Front Suspension systems

Ideal For:

  • Diesel pusher Class A motorhomes
  • Motorhomes equipped with ZF Independent Front Suspension
  • Replacing worn-out factory or Bilstein shocks
  • Improving ride quality on heavy motorhome chassis
  • Long-distance RV travel and rough road conditions

Applications:

  • 2002-Current Freightliner XC – ZF Independent Front Suspension (Front Axle)
  • 2002-Current Freightliner XC – ZF Steerable Tag Axle
  • 2010-Current Tiffin Allegro Bus & Phaeton – PowerGlide Chassis with ZF IFS (Front Axle)
  • Spartan K2 – ZF Independent Front Suspension (Front Axle)

The KONI 99B-3262 EVO front shock is designed for heavy diesel motorhome chassis equipped with ZF Independent Front Suspension, providing improved ride comfort, durability, and suspension performance compared to factory shocks.

Tiffin says they install KONI as OEM on '22 Bus (40ip) now however I have way too much bounce and sway after 22000 miles. Are these and upgrade to factory ( Robert F Averitt, 11/10/2024 )
From what we understand, the OEM supplied Koni's do not have the same valving/damping as the aftermarket EVO's so you probably would notice an improvement by switching. You could also invest in Motion Control Units to help stabilize the coach: https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/Airbag-Control-Units
Will these front shocks work on a 2024 Entegra Reatta? ( Justin Miller, 10/16/2024 )
Hello Justin , we do not have a VIN catalog for the Spartan chassis.  If you can get existing shock part #'s from the shocks or by contacting Spartan , we may be able to cross them to a Koni #.
Does the 3264 fit this vin? TIA Joe ( Joe Mckay, 07/20/2024 )
Yes, the 99B-3262 is correct for your vehicle.
I have a 2016 Allegro Bus. Does this fit my rear shocks? ( Ellis Skinner, 04/16/2024 )
Those are front shocks , the rear shocks should be :

8805-1009 - REAR Spartan Chassis / Tiffin PowerGlide (Koni FSD)

Please see the note about lower bolt size on the product page.
Are the 99B-3262 correct for shocks for my Coach? ( Greg J Albin, 10/09/2023 )

Hello, can you double check the VIN ?  When I run the last 6 I get :  4UZFCHCY8CCBV6161  As long as that is correct, those are correct for the application as well.
