I have a 2003 Airstream Land Yacht P32 Workhorse. 2 issues:
Auto Park light stays on once RV is started. It parks when I place in park and you can hear the pump disengage when I place in drive. I think the brakes are partially engaged. Will both of your switch upgraded fix this issue?
My second issue is that after numerous brake repairs of sorts several months ago our Power Gear jack system dash panel fails to turn on. Fluid is normal level and operation was normal until this point. Inline fuse intact. It came on one time after not working but that was it. Does the Auto Park issue prevent Jack system from going operational? I would imagine the power would still turn on the jack system even if there was a safety feature that was activated. Hello Adam, I would recommend giving us a call to help with diagnosing those issues. Most (if not all) leveling systems do require the brake to be set before they will operate, so the leveling system may not be getting the "signal" that the brake is applied.

I have the same issue as Brian, in this chain, and I am wondering what the result was. Prior to this, my pump would turn on erroneously and I wondered if there was either a flaky pump pressure switch or the system was actually not getting up to pressure, but now that the brake has failed - presumably due to roasted brake pads because the brakes wasn’t fully disengaged - I would think that the system wasn’t getting up to pressure. How would a pressure switch that detects that the system is above a certain pressure cause the brake to fail? Unless the switch was weak and detected it was at pressure when the pressure was still low...

Anyway, wondering if there’s any feedback on this one, so that I know what to order. ( Jesse, 09/07/2020 )

Those factory style pressure switches are just total garbage, so it can fail in many ways. I would not be surprised if it did not allow the pump to build to the proper pressure, or cycle the pump on and off randomly.

My autobrake feature on my 2002 Coachmen pathfinder workhorse 8.1 is not working. The RV will not engage into park, nor does the E-Brake (yellow pull lever). When I place RV in park it keeps rolling. When I start the RV the Auto Park light comes on as well as the parking brake light on the dash. When I shift into drive or reverse I hear it do it's thing and i'm able to drive normally, however when I put it back into park nothing happens. I have to have someone put blocks under tires in order to exit the vehicle. My question is - does this new switch that replaces the RGS fix this issue or should I be looking at something different? The auto park brake system is spring applied and hydraulically released. It sounds like the brake locked up for some reason at some point and roasted the brake shoes inside the drum. I would recommend replacing the pressure switches regardless as that is what could have caused the brake to engage, but you will likely need to replace the park brake shoes.
