SuperSteer Trim Unit for 1993-Current Freightliner XC with Safe-T-Plus Steering Control Unit (Sold Separately)
The SuperSteer Trim Unit provides on-the-fly control over the popular Safe-T-Plus hydraulic steering control unit. The Trim Unit bolts to the Safe-T-Plus device and the motorhome's front axle, allowing the driver to adjust trim at the flip of a switch. Simply correct the wheel in the direction you want to go, flip the switch, and a new center point is established. A great aid in fighting strong side winds.
Applications:
1993-Current Freightliner XC I-Beam Front Axle with Air Suspension
Does NOT fit 2023+ "VFS" I-Beam models
Safe-T-Plus Steering Control Unit 41-230 is required for installation of this kit (not included)
Safe-T-Plus mounting kit is not required
In order for this product to fit, you MUST have at least 8" of clearance between the fuel tank and the tie rod. Be sure to check at ride height and with air drained to confirm
