Improve the ride quality and suspension performance of your luxury motorcoach with the KONI 9005-1089 FSD Tag Axle Shock, designed for 2009 and newer Prevost H3, XL, and XLII coaches equipped with Independent Front Suspension. These premium shocks utilize KONI’s Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology to deliver superior ride comfort while maintaining excellent chassis stability.

FSD technology automatically adapts to changing road conditions. The shock provides firm damping when needed—such as during cornering, braking, and large suspension movements—while remaining soft over expansion joints, rough pavement, and minor road imperfections. This allows the suspension to deliver excellent ride comfort without sacrificing handling stability.

The internal FSD valve filters out unwanted vibrations before they reach the chassis, helping reduce harshness and driver fatigue during long-distance travel. The result is a smoother and more controlled ride whether driving on highways, bridges, or uneven road surfaces.
