These premium shocks feature KONI’s Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) technology, which automatically adapts to changing road conditions to deliver excellent ride comfort and superior chassis control.

FSD technology provides firm damping when needed—such as during cornering, braking, and large suspension movements—while remaining soft over expansion joints, rough pavement, and small road imperfections. The result is improved handling stability without sacrificing ride comfort.

The internal FSD valve filters out unwanted vibrations before they reach the chassis, helping reduce harshness and driver fatigue on long trips. This creates a smoother, more controlled ride whether traveling on highways, bridges, or uneven road surfaces.

This shock also replaces KONI part number 9044-1004. The primary difference is the mounting style: the 9005-1025 uses conical rubber mounts rather than rubber block mounts, providing a more universal fit for various chassis configurations.
