Description:

SumoSprings are proprietary suspension products designed to enhance load carrying ability, stabilize sway and improve overall driver control and comfort.

They are available for both the front and rear of most trucks, vans, SUV’s and motor homes. There are two distinct styles of SumoSprings; the jounce SumoSprings and the dual-bracket SumoSprings kit. The jounce SumoSprings are only attached on one end to the vehicle frame, usually replacing the smaller factory bump stop. The dual-bracket SumoSprings are attached both top and bottom and are generally associated with extra heavy loads.

All SumoSprings are manufactured from proprietary closed microcellular urethane which yields a combination of uniquely distinctive properties. SumoSprings:

a) will compress up to 80% of their original height with full memory rebound
b) will expand up to 50% when attached both top and bottom
c) provide progressive load control; easier initial compress allowing softer engagement; greater resistance with heavier load
d) will never leak and cause a loss of performance
e) have minimal lateral expansion under load allowing for operation in confined spaces
f) are highly resistant to oils, salts and UV rays
g) will perform within temperature range of -25°F and 200°F
h) are 100% maintenance free complying with the SuperSprings product motto of “fit-it-and-forget-it”
i) are 100% manufactured in the USA

what is the height of sumo spring (SSF-280-47) also are the rear bump stops for 02 bounder stock or are they sumo spring, if so what is the height of those ( Carl Taylor, 11/15/2017 )

The dimensions of the SSF-280-47 is 5". The stock bump stops would not be SumoSprings, and they are approximately 3.5" in height. ( Support )

I have installed these Sumo-Springs front and back as well as new Koni Shocks and stabilizers and saft-steer and the front end of my W22 Motorhome and am Very Happy with all of these upgrades except for the following problem. The front end feels like the axle is directly on frame with no cushion between. Is it possible that the Summo Springs or stops on the front are too tall and therefore the shocks are not able to do any absorbing of the shock? ( Dwight, 07/31/2017 )

The SumoSpring system is designed to reduce sway and help the existing springs support a load. In some cases they do allow for smoother contact between the springs and frame for a more comfortable ride but if the vehicle is very heavy on the front end and already compressing the spring it will actually make the spring "stiffer" and may be what you are experiencing. I would have your coach 4-corner weighed to see what your weight and balance is. This might also let you know that the tire pressure can be dropped, providing a smoother ride. ( Support )

Do the Sumo Springs fit the UFO R26 Chassis?

Unfortunately they do not make a set of Sumo Springs for the UFO chassis. If you haven't already, the best suspension upgrade you can make on that chassis is the Koni shocks absorbers: UFO Koni Shocks

No these will not work on the independent front suspension that your P32 chassis has. These are designed for leaf spring front suspension. If you want to upgrade the ride on the front of your P32 I would recommend SuperSteer Coil Springs and Koni FSD shock absorbers.

do the ones that replace the factory bump stops raise vehicle ride hight ?

No the purpose of the SumoSprings is to make contact with the springs to reduce sway and bounce but they are not designed to raise the ride height. If your suspension is sagging enough that it would "squish" the SumoSpring when sitting level, the leaf springs most likely need to be replaced.
