Description:

The 12000 Performance Module fits Cummins 5.9L ISB, 6.7L ISB, 8.3L ISC and 8.9L ISL engines with common rail fuel system. This diesel performance module is designed for extracting more power from your engine with up to 30% increase in horsepower and torque. Adjustable with a four position switch, Stock, +10%, +20%, & +30% power. The module doesn't flash the ECM, instead it receives the data from the ECM, optimizes the signal to the engine improving the fuel efficiency and power. Best of all, this module comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

The RV Edition module will increase your power up to 30% over stock and is self-adjusting based on load and will deliver more power when needed.
The module receives the data from the ECM and optimizes the signal to the engine to improve both power and fuel efficiency. True Plug-and-Play connectivity means we aren’t going to ask you to cut and splice any wires. Just connect the module into your existing factory connectors.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

When you turn the dial to increase HP to 30%, does it affect the idle or engine running sound at idle?
Reason being I have another brand of tuner and when you turn past 15% the idle sounds like it’s on steroids.
I’m not comfortable with that. Sounds like the injector pump is making the engine almost knock more. ( Steve, 04/23/2023 )

We have never experienced this before with the AG Diesel module. It only is adding additional fuel pressure when under demand, so at idle there should be no changes taking place. ( Support )

MD3060 6sp trans upgraded gears for durability. Have already: 103 springs, HD push rods, o-ring stud head, 120 injectors, fass lift pump, 178/208 cam, s355+s366 compound. Have reached a wall on how I can increase power for towing - currently at 360 hp and looking to get closer to 500 hp. Can your product improve on what i already have? ( William, 09/25/2021 )

The module that we have available for the 5.9L ISB engine in your Freightliner FL60 is the 20300: https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/20300-Area-Diesel-Power-Module-ISB-5.9L-(98.5-02)

This module will add up to 65 horsepower which is nowhere near the gains you are trying to achieve. The only ways I know of to get the kind of horsepower you are seeking from that engine would be to find a custom ECM tuner or convert the fuel system from electronic back to the earlier P7100 mechanical fuel control system.

It will definitely give you more power. Fuel mileage results vary, some say they see an increase and others say it's negligible. It is a simple installation, the most time consuming part is usually just getting access to the engine. ( Support )

Is this the right module,
I am unsure if my rv is a common rail.
I have the allison 3000 transmission and the engine is rated at 400HP

Isn’t my Cummins engine limited to 340 HP due the Allison 2500 MH Transmission? Engine SN is 73097191. ( Barry Tripp, 04/20/2020 )

Yes you are already at the upper limits of the Allison 2500MH transmission so I wouldn't recommend a module that does not take that into account.
